Usually the site was built quickly, by someone who has since moved on. It looks dated, it is awkward on a phone, nobody on staff can update it, and the enquiries that do arrive are the wrong kind. Meanwhile the business itself has moved well past what the site describes.
That gap is what Northkin exists to close. We design, develop, and maintain websites that represent the business accurately and give prospective customers an easy way to get in touch.

Whoever is doing the work, you deal with Northkin. One person coordinates the project, keeps the milestones honest, and answers your questions. Nothing gets lost in a handover between departments, because there are no departments.

We are based in Mississauga, Ontario. Most of our clients are in the Greater Toronto Area, and we work with businesses across Canada.
We also take on remote projects internationally. Almost all of a website project happens over video calls, email, and shared documents, so distance rarely matters – being in the same time zone helps more than being in the same city.

Working with Northkin
One point of contact for the whole project. You will not be handed between account managers, and you will not have to re-explain your business to someone new halfway through.
No, and we would rather say so plainly. Northkin is a small studio with a core team. For specialist work – certain development tasks, photography, particular writing specialisms – we bring in trusted subcontractors. We manage them, we quality-check the work, and we remain responsible for the result you receive.
We walk your team through editing the site, and we stay reachable. Many clients move onto a maintenance plan for updates, backups, security monitoring, and content changes. If you would rather manage it yourself, that is fine too – the site is built so you can.
Yes. We are based in Mississauga and work across the GTA and Canada, and we take on remote projects internationally. Everything runs over video calls, email, and a shared project outline.
