Website maintenance so problems stay small
Ongoing updates, backups, security monitoring, performance checks, content changes, and technical support – on a plan, before things break.
Websites do not stay finished
A WordPress site is not an appliance you install once. Core software, themes, and plugins update constantly, mostly to close security holes. Skip those updates for a year and you have a site that is slow, vulnerable, and increasingly likely to break in a way that is expensive to fix.
The businesses that get burned are rarely careless. They are just busy. Nobody has maintaining the website in their job description, so it drifts until something goes visibly wrong.
A maintenance plan takes it off your desk. We keep the site current, watch for problems, hold recent backups, and handle the content changes you would otherwise put off.

Who this is for
Businesses with no in-house IT
Nobody on staff owns the website, so nobody is watching it.
Sites handling enquiries
If your forms stop delivering, you lose work without ever knowing it happened.
Sites we have just built
Keeping a new site in the condition it launched in, rather than watching it decay.
How it works
Onboarding
We audit the site, take a full backup, and fix anything already broken.
Monitoring
Uptime, security, and performance are watched so issues surface before customers do.
Maintenance
Updates are applied and checked on a schedule, and your content changes actioned.
Reporting
You get a plain-language summary of what was done and what needs your attention.
Common questions about website maintenance
Usually, yes. We start with an audit to see what condition the site is in. If it has been badly neglected or built on abandoned plugins, we will tell you what needs fixing before a maintenance plan makes sense – occasionally the honest answer is that a rebuild would cost you less than propping it up.
Text edits, swapping images, adding or updating a page, changing prices or staff details, uploading a document – the everyday changes. New page templates, new functionality, or design work are quoted separately, and we will always tell you in advance if a request falls outside the plan.
Uptime monitoring alerts us, generally before you notice. We investigate, and if the problem is with the site itself we fix it. If it is a hosting failure we deal with the host on your behalf. If something has gone badly wrong, we restore from a recent backup.
No. Maintenance runs month to month. If you want to stop, you tell us and we hand over cleanly, including your backups and access details. Holding a business hostage to its own website is not a business model we are interested in.
